The ‘Western Australian geoscientific imagery and data, 2021’ is a compilation of numerous statewide data and imagery derived from Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) and some third-party geoscience databases. The package includes a selection of State-wide datasets such as geology base maps, geological map mosaics, geophysical and remote sensing imagery, GSWA’s field observations and explanatory notes amongst many others. The package also includes extracts of geoscientific information from GSWA databases that are relevant to mineral exploration (e.g. WAROX, WACHEM, WAMEX, MINEDEX, etc.) and categorized geoscientific datasets generated as part of the GSWA Accelerated Geoscience Program 2020–21, with a particular focus on WAMEX maximum grade inhole and soil geochemical data. Data are held in GDA94 decimal degrees. In addition, some WAMEX and abandoned gold mine datasets are also provided in Albers projection with GDA 94 datum for advanced users--Abstract.
